PNC Claims Prestigious Healthcare Service Award in Recognition of Excellence
Vizient, Inc, awards PNC 'Supplier of the Year' for partnership with healthcare group purchasing organization.
Vizient, Inc., one of the largest member-driven healthcare group purchasing organizations in the country, has awarded PNC with its Novaplus Supplier of the Year Award for delivering exceptional service to its members. The award was presented at the 2019 Vizient Connections Business Summit, held April 3 in Las Vegas.
PNC was one of 23 suppliers and distributors recognized for providing value and benefit to members in 2018. On hand to receive the award from PNC were:

PNC offers electronic payables and purchasing cards to Novaplus members, making it easy to maximize the financial benefits of payables automation. The program, which is the first of its kind among Novaplus services, is managed through PNC's ActivePay, a solution that enables the integration of commercial cards as a settlement option within existing Accounts Payables (AP) processes and offers single-use virtual cards for payment of vendor invoices.
PNC currently provides commercial card programs to 164 Vizient members – including many of the major academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals and other healthcare providers in the U.S. The total spend volume across all of these program was $1.4 billion in 2018. Vizient members value PNC's flexible payment terms, advantageous pricing, and level of support and client care provided from implementation through day-to-day servicing of their card program. They also value PNC's continuum of commercial card solutions, which include Travel & Entertainment (T&E), Fleet, Payables and Purchasing card.
ActivePay combines real-time issuance of virtual cards with an organization's existing purchase order authorization and invoice approval and payment processes, resulting in operating efficiencies, economic benefit and greater spending control while mitigating purchasing risk.
